Circle Treasurer's Page
This page is a resource for our
circle treasurers to use as they
maintain their circle records for the
year. Due to new auditing
requirements, new procedures and
policies are being put in place to
ensure accurate recordkeeping for each
circle.
At the September Kick-off meeting for
the BOT each circle received a manual
and record book for their circle to use.
This book is separated into 4 tabs:
Procedures/Forms
- Forms to use
are available for download. The
Treasurer's Procedures are also
available for download.
Bank Statements-
Use this tab to keep a
copy of your bank statements each month
(in addition to mailing a copy to the
office with the labels and envelopes
provided in the back of the Treasurer's
Manual).
Deposits and Documentation-
Keep a copy of your
deposits made and any notes or details
on the deposits in this tab.
Payments & Documentation-
Keep the receipts or
invoices documenting the checks you
write here.
The
CPA firm retained by SMF will review a
random sampling of circle's
documentation each year for our annual
audit.
