CHILDCARE GRANTS
The Winter Quarter 2008 deadline has
passed.
DEADLINE FOR NEW APPLICATIONS
FOR SPRING QUARTER 2008: March 3,
2008
Full and partial childcare grants are
awarded to Seattle area college students.
Students find out about the program from
their colleges' financial aid or other
support offices and can get an application
packet from school or
here. Applicants must get two
letters of recommendation and mark on their
application how they found out about the
program.
REQUIREMENTS: Students must maintain a minimum
2.8 GPA, carry at least 12 credit hours and be in a 2-4 year undergraduate degree program.
Grants are paid directly to the childcare/preschool
provider of your choice. Grants are
only paid to licensed, quality centers. Grants are open to men and women.
INTERVIEWS: Initial interviews are required with
committee members and are scheduled prior to the applicant's first quarter. Progress checks
are made mid-way each quarter by our committee members.
