Heather Giron Fritts
Development Director

A Pacific Northwest native, Heather is passionate about nonprofit, mission driven leadership, and philanthropy in Puget Sound.   Leading individuals, businesses and families to become passionate about the causes they care deeply about, she works to strengthens missions her constituents and she care for most.  Seeking to become a catalyst capable of creating thriving communities, Heather achieved her BA in Human Services while working for United Way and Social Venture Partners, and went on to achieve her Executive Nonprofit Leadership Graduate Degree from Seattle University while fulfilling her inaugural Development Director role at Center for Human Services.  Throughout her nonprofit career, Heather has been tasked with leadership roles requiring her skills to shine through strategic development, research and creation of fundraising, communications and branding plans, and development and implementation of agencies’ policies and protocols.  It was Heather’s talent in recognizing and developing skills in staff, teams, boards, and others, advancing education and strengthening knowledge, that led her to our team in 2012.  Heather is in the midst of creating a blog on the journey toward happiness and philanthropy, she is a mentor through the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and hopes to pursue her CFRE certification soon.  In the meantime, she continues to empower individuals today to become leaders tomorrow, and connects people to their passions, stating “knowing I am instrumental in allowing another individual to advance their skills, fulfill their dreams, and leave behind a legacy is a gift I willingly accept! What legacy would you like to leave?”
